Tecnatom do Brasil has finished successfully its participation in 2P16 outage inspection works at Angra 2 NPP.

Throughout five weeks, up to sixteen NDTs inspectors, helpers and coordination staff members have performed integrity surveillance in welds and components of the power plant.

This outage has been especially challenging due to the restrictions established by Eletronuclear aiming to avoid the COVID-19 disease spread inside the power station facilities. All H&S directions were strictly followed and, thankfully, our team came back home with no accidents, contaminations nor infections.

Since 2019, Tecnatom do Brasil is the company in charge of all manual Non-Destructive Test In Service Inspections at Angra NPP, in both Units 1 and 2.
